What should you wear? Shorts. Polo. Nice dress shirt. Sunday best. All of the above. We aren’t worried about what you wear, and we don’t want you to be either. We’re just excited to meet you.
Faith for the Whole Family
At South Run, we believe faith is a family journey.
9:45 AM – Engaging Bible Study: While you're in an adult study, your kids will be in age-specific classrooms where they’ll learn about God's love through hands-on activities and teaching.
11:00 AM – Intergenerational Worship: We want our children (Ages 4+) in the sanctuary with us during the main service. Research shows that when kids worship alongside adults, they develop deeper faith habits and a true sense of belonging. During the service, we have a special "Children’s Message" where we bring them forward to participate directly.
For parents of little ones (Ages 3 and under), our nursery is available all morning.
The Worship Experience
Our worship style is a bridge between the ancient and the modern.
You’ll hear songs you recognize from the radio alongside classic hymns. We believe tradition is a guide, not a cage—so while we may recite the Nicene Creed or observe the rhythms of Advent and Lent, we do so to make the eternal truths of Christ relevant in the 21st century.
Expect a service filled with Scripture, prayer, and a practical message rooted in the Bible.

I’m Eric, and I’ve served as the Senior Pastor at South Run since 2017. I believe that in a noisy, fractured world, the church should be a place where you are known, encouraged, and challenged to grow.
My wife and I are raising our three kids right here in Northern Virginia, and we know how important it is to find a church that feels like home. Whether you have deep roots in faith or are just starting to ask questions, there is a place for you here. I’ll be in the lobby this Sunday. Please come say hello!
