What to Expect:

A Service of Light, Carols, and Joy.

Join us for a one-hour, family-friendly celebration of Christmas. We will sing the carols you love, hear the story of Jesus, and share our joy together. The service will conclude with the lighting of candles and the singing of Silent Night.

A Gift for You: As part of this year’s service, we have a small but special take-home gift connected to the service.

 

WHEN: December 24th 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM (Long enough to enjoy, short enough to enjoy the rest of your Christmas Eve traditions!)

FOR KIDS: This service is designed for families. Children are invited to participate in the service with their own lights. Nursery care is available for ages 0-3.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • For this special Christmas Eve service, we do not have a separate nursery. At South Run, we believe the sounds of children are a feature, not a disruption. We love having them in the room!

    We also cherish the research showing that children who worship with their parents—even from a young age—are more likely to keep their faith into adulthood. So please, bring them in. We are comfortable with the "mess" of real family life. If you feel the need to step out to soothe a crying baby, you are welcome to, but please know that a little noise doesn't bother us. Our pastor has preached through much louder things than a fussy toddler!

  • Come as you are. You’ll see everything from jeans to Christmas best.

  • Yes, we have plenty of on-site parking available just outside the main entrance.
