9:45 am: Bible Study for all ages, with an additional virtual Bible Study option for adults. Childcare available.

11:00 am: Worship Service (In Person and via Livestream)

The scriptures are clear that many parts compose the Body of Christ and that it is undesirable for any part to be separated from its greater whole. Furthermore, the early church evidenced the importance of community and personal commitment to one another. Therefore, it is of great importance that Christians be joined together in the covenant of community.

We are glad for you to visit with us, but we want to see you live up to your God-given potential. The local church can only encourage you to be on mission for God if you enter into covenant with us through publicly declaring your intentions to be a part of our community of faith. At South Run, there are a few ways you can do that:

• By accepting Christ as Savior followed by believer’s baptism

• By transfer of membership from another church

• By statement of faith in Christ and prior baptism by immersion from another denomination

If you are interested in knowing more, we invite you to schedule an appointment with our Pastor. We want to get to know you better and share our values and vision for the future. At the conclusion of every service, we have a time of response. As God leads you during that time of worship and invitation, you can come forward to make your decision public to join our fellowship.

At South Run, we believe worship is the voice of our congregation unified in proclaiming the glory of God. Every worship opportunity has been prayerfully designed to foster a space for people to draw close to God and respond to His call for their lives. In all of our worship services, our main desire is for you to come in and worship with a full focus on Jesus Christ.

Sunday Morning Worship is a time where we gather together as a community of faith to find renewal during our individual and collective journeys. We are blessed to have some uniquely talented musicians that help us lead in that effort every Sunday morning.  Our worship team uses modern music recreated to allow the songs of our faith to be sung in a way that is relevant to today’s society. In addition to music, this special time also includes scripture readings, corporate prayer, pastoral encouragement, and a monthly observance of the Lord’s Supper.

First-Time Visitors: The Worship Center ushers are available to assist you should you have any questions or special needs regarding seating or other general questions. Should special needs arise during the service, feel free to go to an usher to request assistance.  As a first-time visitor to South Run Baptist Church, you are our guest, and we would like to get to know you.  We would be grateful to know how to contact you so that we can know how to better serve your family.  Please consider completing our Visitor Card and placing it in the offering plate.

Worship Care: We encourage you to take advantage of our supervised nursery with skilled and loving caregivers. The nursery and a toddler rooms are available for all children through 3 years of age and are located on the lower level of the church. Of course, you are welcome to bring your infant into the Sanctuary. If you have to leave the Sanctuary with your child for whatever reason during the worship service, the Conference Room has a life-stream feed of the worship service that is available for your use.

What to wear: Most of our congregation wears comfortable and casual clothes. If you prefer to dress up, perfect!
