Small Group Bible Studies

Kingdom Man
Mondays, 8:00-9:30, home of Derek Davis
Our culture has redefined male identity. Men are portrayed as weak, self-serving, and unfocused. When a man functions within the principles of biblical manhood, those around him benefit from his leadership and care. This study challenges and equips men to fully understand their position under God, learning to operate under the authority of Jesus Christ.
Facilitator: Derek Davis

The Minor Prophets
Tuesdays, 7:15-8:30, home of Jim Hempstead
Study the Minor Prophets starting with Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, and Jonah. “Minor” refers not to their importance but to their length. All were considered important enough to enter the Hebrew Bible.
Facilitator: Jim Hempstead

The Explicit Gospel
Wednesdays,  6:30-7:30, SRBC
In an explanation that embraces the whole of Scripture, author Matt Chandler defines what the gospel is – and what it is not. Written with Chandler’s weighty and yet immediately understandable style, this Bible study includes the specifics of the gospel as well as its fullness, clearly outlining its massive implications on both personal and cosmic levels.
Facilitator: John Turner
