Sunday Morning Bible Study start at 9:45 am on Sunday morning every week. We have Sunday Morning Bible Study (SMBS) for people of every age and season of life. In every SMBS, we encounter God, invest in each other’s lives, and dream together about ways to love God in Northern Virginia and to the ends of the earth.
The Children’s ministry is committed to teaching children the Gospel of Jesus Christ by offering fun and meaningful activities through the year. Our philosophy is that church should be a fun, loving, safe place for kids to come and learn about Jesus. Our classrooms are equipped with games, crafts, videos, music, books, and toys that all are used to help our children learn biblical truths. In addition to our weekly activities, we also offer special events during the year for our families to enjoy together. A safe environment is foundational for the discipleship of children. We want you to feel at ease as you entrust your children to our caring workers. All our volunteers are thoroughly screened to ensure that your child has a safe environment to learn and play. We want all children here to feel loved in the same way that Jesus first loved us.
Our focus is to teach and equip middle- and high-school students so they can develop and grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. In following Christ, their lives are changed and they are driven to invite others to encounter Christ so they may know, believe and understand the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
The Women’s Ministry of South Run Baptist Church is committed to providing opportunities for women, in every stage of life, to enter a relationship with Jesus Christ and to grow in knowledge of Him. Only Jesus can fill the God-longing in every heart. We seek His guidance to develop lifestyle specific programs that equip women to lead balanced, satisfying, virtuous and victorious lives. We also offer a variety of opportunities throughout the year for fellowship, retreat, and encouragement. For more information about our Women’s Ministry, contact Valerie Hunt.
We hope that moms of children (ages 0-5) will join us for a year of fun, friendship, support, and encouragement. Each meeting includes childcare, a speaker or craft, and fellowship with other moms. For more information, contact Kristin Mercer (firstname.lastname@example.org).
